Quality Assurance Specialist I
Position Summary
The QA Specialist I will support the senior staff at developing test plans and scripts. Perform various software and hardware tests. Document and track all product and code deficiencies. Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation. Also, develop and maintain knowledge of the current trends in software / hardware testing.
General Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience working with PC and web environments with some experience in software development and/or network administration. Must have a strong desire for quality, an attention to detail, and an ability to take work direction and to communicate effectively.
Qualifications
A degree in computer science, a related field, or a minimum of 2 years working in the computer industry.
Position Summary
The QA Specialist II will provide a full range of manual QA services to SWAT Lab clients, writing and executing test plans and scripts for a variety of software and hardware products. Assist with resolving software and network issues. Define and maintain the test environment. Develop and maintain the build and release procedures for all new products. Perform a variety of software and hardware tests, document and track all product and code deficiencies, and verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation. Develop and maintain knowledge of the current trends in software and hardware testing.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with PC and web environments, and some experience working with relational databases, programming languages, networking and communications protocols. Must have good organizational skills, a strong desire for quality, and an attention to detail with an ability to take work direction and to communicate effectively.

A degree in computer science, a related field, or a minimum of 4 years working in the computer industry. Plus a minimum of 2 years as a software or hardware tester.

Pro-active in making specific QA recommendations to clients, and in implementing QA processes. Understands software development, and both automated and manual testing processes. Assists with resolving software and network issues. Team leader on client projects, providing project management from project conception through completion. Develops and maintains knowledge of the current trends in software / hardware testing.
General Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience working with PC and Web environments, relational databases, programming languages, networking and communications protocols. Has experience in application testing methods, with a specific emphasis in database or network software testing. Has team leader or management experience with top-notch organizational skills, and a strong desire for quality. Demonstrates the diplomatic skills needed to promote improvements in QA processes. Also, has the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical persons.

A degree in computer science, computer programming, or a minimum of 5 years working in the computer industry. In addition, must have minimum of 4 years as a software / hardware tester, and 2 years as a team leader or manager.

The Automation Specialist will provide manual and automated testing services to SWAT Lab clients with a special emphasis on automated test development. Develop, create, and update manual and automated test plans and scripts. Develop and maintain build and release procedures for new products. Assist with resolving software and network issues. Perform a variety of software tests, document and track all product and code deficiencies; also, verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation. Develop and maintain knowledge of the current trends in software testing.

Understands automated testing and is certified or working toward certification in one or more automated test tools.
